Art of new generation
Graffiti became a way of life – the adrenaline fear of being caught, standing in dangerous places while you graffiti, stealing the paint and creating something they were proud of. Graffiti style was massively influenced by the hip-hop culture that had started in the Bronx in the sixties. Hi, Andriy!
Is graffiti very popular in Ukraine? Can you or your friends graffiti? What do they graffiti?
Dear Andriy,
The topic you have chosen is very interesting and many other students around the world are talking about that. Take a look at the project 'Walls Talking' and everyone can join it online. Here is the link http://www.flickr.com/groups/wallstalking/
Enjoy,
Graffiti is popular in Ukraine, but I don't think that it is very popular in our country. I have some friends that can graffiti and as for me I can't graffiti.
The art of graffiti always was and will be popular in every country, becouse it's a part of big young culture named Hip-Hop. In Khmelnytskyj live many people wich draw realy unbelievable pictures (graffiti). But we cann't see their art on the walls becouse even small graffiti needs big money. So, all their art stays on the papers!
Hello)
I have learnt a lot of interesting from your story. I can't draw graffiti, but I think graffiti it's cool!!!
